As a huge part of General Hospital history, Kimberly McCullough (Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake) was on hand to celebrate the show’s past and help look into its future at the recent Paley Center event. I was lucky enough to steal time with the very fun McCullough, who told me about the ABC Directing program, a GH alum she recently spent time with and of course I asked her about her adorable on-screen daughter Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma).
The General Hospital fan in McCullough is up-to-date on all the happenings in Port Charles , while the director in her had a tip for the Nurse’s Ball. McCulloiugh also dished about the possibility of a Robin return.
Daytime Confidential: Just a little bit on your directing. I know you’re out there doing that, how’s it going?
Kimberly McCullough: It’s going really well. I just did my first episode of Shake it Up called "Halloween it Up".
DC:My nieces are going to be ecstatic when I tell them!
KM: Oh I was ecstatic! It was so fun and Zendaya is doing so great on Dancing with the Stars right now. So I did that and right now I’m an ABC Director Fellow, so I'm in the program and shadowing different shows.I'm actually going to shadow on Homeland in two weeks which I'm very excited about. It looks like the enemy of Tracy’s enemy will soon be her friend. TV Guide Magazine’sMichael Logan caught up with Jane Elliot who revealed Tracy and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) go into business together to beat AJ (Sean Kanan). However, that’s not the only twist! The war over Tracy and AJ’s different Pickle-Lila recipes will land them on The Chew in an epic “Clash of the Condiments.”
Do Tracy's plans go off without a hitch? Hardly. "Nikolas gets cold feet about sabotaging A.J. and he traps Tracy in her hotel with two beefy bodyguards to keep her away from The Chew," Elliot says. "Tracy miraculously gets away and bursts into the studio while A.J. is being interviewed, much to his chagrin." Adds the actress: "Frank will kill me if I say anything more. Let's put it this way: This is the denouement of the relish storyline and things are going to take a very interesting turn."

It seems Katie Couric did a bit more than guest on General Hospital, as the unscrupulous reporter who tried to get the dirt from Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) about his family. According to The Huffington Post, Couric revealed she helped come up with her character.
"I did actually help the writers come up with that storyline," Couric said on her show. "Sleazy tabloid reporters actually sneak into hospitals."
In this week’s SOAPnet promo for General Hospital, Roger Howarth, Kristen Alderson and Michael Easton return to PC as new characters with new looks. Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Shawn (Sean Blakemore) turn Crimson's offices into the O.K. Corral.

Great news for Tyler Christopher fans. The General Hospital favorite has been placed on contract with the show. Soap Opera Digest is reporting Christopher is sticking around Port Charles. The actor stated,
It took us a few months to work out the details, but I signed last week," he reports. "I'm really happy about it. I love the show and I'm having a great time.
In one corner, there is A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan), the attempting-to-reform, bad seed, scion of Port Charles' most prominent family. In the other, there's His Royal Hiney, I mean, Highness, Prince Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher), who is ready to make a stab at a real relationship with his brother's ex-wife. Did someone say stab? Helena (Constance Towers) is dead right?!
Monday on GH, Liz learned A.J. had sex with Carly (Laura Wright). Will this bombshell be enough to send her racing into Nikolas' ripped, veiny, bronzed arms, quicker than you can say "Tiara fitting, please?", or will she give A.J. yet another chance to prove himself? You tell us:

On Friday’s episode of General Hospital, Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and son Spencer found the Britchtastic Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) in an emotional state in the park. This was after having BBQ'd Emma’s (Brooklyn Rae Silzer) dolly like a side of ribs at Famous Dave’s and being shunned by Patrick (Jason Thompson) once again. The gallant prince that he is, Nikolas invited Britt to join them in watching the fireworks, to which she obliged.
A Faison and Cassadine romantic pairing could be hot. Imagine if Nikolas has to do terrible, un-princely things to save Britt from her manipulative mother and psycho father, only to realize he enjoys his darker side more than he believed possible! We’d get to possibly see more of Britt’s human side, as she tries pull him back from the brink of no return. They could become Port Charles’ next, great twisted power couple!

Bad news for fans of The Lying Game. ABC Family has opted not to renew the series, starring daytime soap alums Alexandra Chando, Blair Redford and General Hospital’s Tyler Christopher. Chando announced the news on Instagram. Check out her post after the jump!
